Daniel Edney

Personal Trainer and Founder

Daniel has been passionate about bikes since he was 10. He has raced in mountain bike, road bike, triathlon and running events competing in various formats. From the relatively small 5km running and sprint triathlons to the somewhat larger iron distance Tri and 24hr mountain bike races. As a fully qualified personal trainer specialising in group exercise, Daniel has developed class structures designed to challenge and teach individuals to get more out of their fitness routines. From complete beginners to regular class stalwarts, you are sure to come away with something new.

John Wood

Triathlon and Swimming Coach

As an athlete, John qualified to represent Great Britain as a swimmer in both the pool and open water and competed at European and World championships. In addition, he has coached Olympic and Paralympic athletes, swimmers and triathletes, including gold medalist Andy Lewis. John has been coaching for over 20 years and brings with him all the knowledge and expertise gained through his career.

Paul Bunce

Paul Bunce

Strength and Conditioning Coach

Paul Bunce brings over 20 years of experience as a Strength and Conditioning Coach in professional sports. His areas of expertise include strength and conditioning performance training and injury rehab. Paul has worked with many Great British and National athletes in sports such as netball, track and field, squash, badminton and swimming.

Kate Mills

Personal Trainer and Indoor Cycling Specialist

Kate Mills is a level 3 qualified Personal Trainer, specialising in Suspension, indoor cycling, kettlebells and strength and conditioning. As well as 1 to 1 training, Kate also runs small group training sessions, maximising group motivation and enthusiasm. Kate is also a keen runner, road cyclist and triathlete.

Charlotte Taylor-Green

World Champion Runner and Coach

World champion Charlotte is the best runner you will ever meet! Current 800 and 1500 meter winner in the World Masters and Steeplechaser for England, Charlotte brings her years of expertise as an elite athlete and personal trainer to the Abbeydore Retreat programmes, helping you to understand how to work with the body to maximise performance and push the boundaries of what you can achieve, whether you are a beginner or accomplished athlete.

ALLAN FRASER-RUSH

Yoga Teacher

Allan is a registered and qualified yoga instructor with the British Wheel of Yoga which is the national governing body for yoga in the United Kingdom, recognised by Sports England. With a background in competitive gymnastics and aerobics, Allan believes that yoga, and in particular Hatha Yoga is one of the most accessible fitness activities available for all ages, no matter what the level of fitness. Hatha Yoga takes a staged approach to teaching, allowing each participant to work within their own fitness level and improve and develop at their own pace.

Rich Malone

Cycling Coach

Rich is a very experienced cyclist who can usually be found putting in the road miles around his home in the Cotswolds or in Mallorca when time allows. As a British Cycling qualified Ride Leader, he will guide you around carefully researched and reccied routes, avoiding major roads and potholed tarmac as much as possible. As well as being trained in emergency first aid, he has spent nearly 25 years in the cycle trade and is an Cytech-qualified mechanic, so you're in safe hands no matter what happens.
