Twenty minutes drive to the west is the picturesque book town of Hay-On-Wye, or twenty minutes to the east takes you into the lovely city of Hereford. The Black Mountains are accessible from a short distance away with Wales’ highest paved road, the Gospel Pass, just above Hay-on-Wye. To the south is the charming Abergavenny, a 25-minute drive, with Sugar Loaf Mountain towering above it. Monmouth is just a little further. These great easy-access local places offer leisure opportunities and excellent day trips.

You could extend your stay to enjoy the local area, or we would welcome a non-participating partner to share your accommodation and enjoy day trips while you train.
